CARE OF OILED WOOD
I use all-natural tung oil, citrus, beeswax and mineral oil to create a durable and food-safe finish. Wooden utensils are sturdy, but they should be treated with respect. They should never be put in the dishwasher, and excessive hot water or soaking will make the finish wear off faster. Ideally, they should be hand washed with lukewarm water and toweled dry. Over time, if the wood appears dry, you may want to apply a food-safe wood conditioner. Learn more here.
SHIPPING & PICKUP
Once you place an order, an email confirmation will be sent with the estimated processing time. If you’re interested in an item but need it sooner than the time shown on checkout, contact me before you place your order and I will let you know if I have anything available.
If you choose to pick up your order, I will contact you when it is complete, and we can arrange a pickup either at an upcoming market or at my workshop in of Napanoch, NY. You can leave a message on checkout with your preference, or contact me before you place your order to discuss other pickup options.
If you choose to have your order shipped, you will receive a second email confirmation with a tracking number when your package is on the way.
